Frank Kerney III

Frank H. Kerney III is a founder and managing partner of The Consumer Lawyers. Frank attended the University of South Florida where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. After graduation from USF, Frank attended Stetson University College of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate and graduated with honors. Prior to co-founding The Consumer Lawyers, a nationwide law firm focused on inaccurate credit reporting and inaccurate background checks, Frank was an equity partner in Morgan & Morgan’s national consumer protection department where he represented consumers across the United States in a variety of cases, with a focus on consumer credit reporting and illegal debt collection. In 2020 Law360 named that group the Consumer Protection Group of the year. That same year, Law360 named Frank a Top Attorney under 40.

Frank has been interviewed as legal analyst by multiple publications, including Law360, ABC, NBC, and Fox, and stories about his cases have been featured all over the world. Frank is licensed in multiple jurisdictions and has represented consumers across the United States in inaccurate credit reporting and inaccurate background check cases, as well as a variety of other consumer matters. Frank has tried dozens of cases throughout his career and has recovered millions of dollars in compensation for his clients.

In 2022 Frank and his law partner, Octavio “Tav” Gomez, founded The Consumer Lawyers to provide high-quality, nationwide representation to consumers in inaccurate credit reporting and inaccurate background check cases. Frank and Tav only represent consumers, and never corporations, and believe that their mission is to obtain the highest level of compensation for their clients as possible to ensure justice is served.
